Position Purpose: PURPOSE: . Due diligence support for hedge fund and other specialized trading counterparties . Manage counterparty operational requirements Key Accountabilities: . Examine hedge funds middle and back offices, including, legal structures, operational support structures, valuation, NAV analysis, risk measurement, leverage, liquidity, counter party risk, trade processing, cash management controls, personnel, and disaster recovery planning . Review hedge funds legal documentation, audited financial statements, operations manuals, pricing policies, compliance procedures, business continuity plans, marketing presentations, and other relevant documents . Coordinate, prepare for, and conduct on site interviews with hedge fund senior management . Prepare and present operational due diligence reports for presentation to the investment committee along with recommendation of whether or not the manager should receive funding . Coordinate operational flow between compliance, financial and risk departments . Provide legal support on fund structures and practices. . Manage portfolio liquidity schedules. . Conduct market intelligence by liaising with fund administrators, prime brokers, external auditors, information technology professionals, and attorneys to stay abreast with industry best practices . Manage all relationships with third party vendors and perform reviews of these providers (i.e., analysis of risk management solutions and which strategies they best support; analysis of accounting systems; analysis of information technology providers; and analysis of industry auditors, administrators, and law firms) KEY LATERAL RELATIONSHIPS: .
