Job Summary The person in this role is responsible for the following management responsibilities for Godiva Direct: 1. Search Engine Marketing & Search Engine Optimization Partner Management Strategic Partnership Management of SEM/SEO agency . Work with Account Team to determine and execute strategy for SEM campaigns, which includes setting the budget, driving ROI, tracking existing keywords, testing new keywords and testing promotional copy for each keyword and creating tracking URLs. . Develop monthly analysis of Godivas clicks/sales performance. . Ensure Godiva is in the top position across all major search engines for non-paid search engine rankings. o Help determine list of top keywords and monitor placements. o Work with agency on creation of landing pages, the labeling of pages, tagging of images, etc.
2. Business Intelligence & Performance Analytics . Monthly analysis and reporting of key user trends and conclusions/implications/strategic planning for the business. . Monthly reporting and analysis of Directs Key Performance Indicators for submission to Ecommerce Manager. 3. Portal Partnership Management Strategic Partnership Management of AOL and MSN . Work with Account Teams to communicate Godivas key/new products and promotions, key selling dates, and forecasted sales. Secure key merchandising dates for paid placements as well as drive incremental placements. . Bi-annually present to Account Teams the past 6 month performance and showcase new collections/products and promotions, including recommendations to drive future 6 month performance. . Create monthly analysis of sales performance. . Update product datafeed. Manage creative asset materials for all placements . Create list of assets needed on a monthly basis and write promotional copy for each placement & set up unique tracking URLs and submit all assets. 4. Affiliate Partner Management Strategic Partnership Management of Performics (and affiliate partners) . Work with Performics Account Team to communicate Godivas key/new products and promotions, key selling dates, and forecasted sales to "key" affiliate partners. Decide on what seasonal promotional placements Godiva should participate in and secure key merchandising dates for these placements. Work with "key" affiliate partners on securing incremental placements. . Work with Account Team on determining what affiliates are approved to join our program as well as target/contact sites we should add to our affiliate program. . Work with Account Team on an incentive program for top affiliates. . Update product datafeed. . Create monthly analysis of
Godiva.coms sales performance through these affiliates Manage creative asset materials for affiliate partners . Create list of assets needed for partnership on monthly basis. . Continually monitor affiliate sites to ensure the proper use of assets.
5. Marketing Budget Management . Manage Interactive Marketing Expense budget on an ongoing basis. Job Specifications .Minimum education required: BA or BS degree .Years of relevant ecommerce experience: 4 years .Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Strong understanding of interactive marketing/ecommerce Experience with managing/manipulating interactive datafeeds Technically saavy Contacts and Communication: Internal - Direct group, Customer Service, Logistics, Marketing, Retail, Finance, Operations, Legal External - Interactive Agency, MSN, Yahoo, Google and potential variety of vendors State/Province : New York City : New York Relocation Approved : No
