Summary Description: The Producer for the Global Web Site leads the development and management of content for the global layer of the firms public website. She/he manages the content strategy for the global web site and collaborates closely with Global marketing directors and other Global Brand & Communications stakeholders to ensure that web-based content is optimized for online presentation. This position manages various functional elements of the site and drives innovation. The Producer will report to the Channel Director, Public Web. Strategic & Technical Orientation: Has solid knowledge of web trends and best practices, and leverages knowledge to drive usage of the global web site Creates engaging content and an improved user experience to drive awareness of the Firms brand, thought leadership, point of view and capabilities and succeeds in driving high conversion rates. Works with the global marketing leads as well as global brand & communications leadership to educate them on best practices for on-line communication. Looks for ways to incorporate new and innovative technologies to reach multiple, diverse and changing audience groups. Interprets metrics and recommends steps to achieve firm goals Leverages knowledge to drive usage of the on-line space. Range of Impact: The Producer for the global web site is responsible for making optimal use of the web to support the Firms brand and thought leadership positioning as well as supporting global LoS and Industry marketing strategies. This involves close collaboration with members of the global marketing organization and the on-line shared core competency resources. In addition, the Senior Producer independently develops web-specific content, and works with outside producers if necessary. Scope of Responsibility: Build and sustain relationships with key global marketers, shared core competency resources, other on-line channels, and members of the global brand & communications team. Offer on-line editorial subject matter expertise and guidance. Responsible for development of on-line content, and management of global pwc.com home page Identify and manage content and brand risks. Manage the resources responsible for User Feedback processes. Analyze pwc.com metrics to augment the firms insight into usage patterns, subjects of interest, and client behavior. Responsibilities Works with global marketers and global brand & communications to ensure that content is effectively leveraged in the on-line environment to support PwC leaderships strategy Ensure that content, messaging and on-line experience reflect the firms strategic, brand and business development objectives. Manage the global home page for pwc.com Oversees regular page audits of the Global site to continuously improve user experience, content presentation, cross promotion and risk management. Provides on-line writing, editing and proof-reading support when needed Implements Web 2.0, multimedia, and emerging media where appropriate to promote Thought leadership initiatives, drawing on subject matter experts in shared service pool. Develops global editorial calendar Draws on on-line subject matter experts as appropriate (e.g., Search, Usability) Develops content development guidelines and aids. Provides business analytics detailing site usage patterns, lead generation, and opportunities for improvement. Representing pwc.com as necessary in cross-channel working groups.
