Job description Identifies customer needs/opportunities for new offerings in priority market segments; builds upon the business plan for a market segment and an analysis of market needs to develop the Offering/Solution Business Plan (O/SBP). Employees in this role are responsible for the development and successful implementation of the O/SBP to ensure revenue and profit attainment. They establish the requirements for the marketing execution support of the offering/solution across the Program Framework; they define and create go-to-market content for program deliverables, and help to identify cross-brand synergies; and they support mapping of offerings within the program framework. Employees in this role advocate the offering both internally and externally to gain agreement from the appropriate integrated Portfolio Management Team (IPMT). They support key external relationships, such as analysts, technical user conferences and user groups. They then drive the offering to market, ensuring that the offering developed aligns with the market and channel requirements and strategy.
