The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online and/or traditional media sales. In this role youll develop and implement the Pharmaceutical advertising sales strategy across Platform A. Other responsibilities for this role include: managing across a sales force on a national level, assistance with deal negotiations and client meetings, serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, business and sales development teams to ensure the Pharmaceutical strategy is championed across all departments. Grow and strengthen relationships in the marketplace by sharing information and best practices. You will be Platform As Pharmaceutical advertising evangelist both internally and externally. This role requires a tremendous amount of cross-company dependencies. Significant interpersonal and leadership skills are required to manage through the organization to execute the Pharmaceutical sales strategy.
Responsibilities ? Develop Pharmaceutical category sales strategy and drive revenue growth ? Manage across a regional sales force on a national category level - ensuring all important accounts are represented fairly and in a timely manner ? Achieve quarterly revenue targets ? Recognize and understand trends within client markets and industries ? Organize the Pharmaceutical category advertising business from a top down category perspective in tandem with the regional sales structure to maximize revenues across Platform A ? Serve as liaison between sales, marketing, business and sales development teams to ensure Pharmaceutical strategy is championed across all departments ? Assist with deal negotiations and client meetings ? Act as Platform As Pharmaceutical advertising evangelist both internally and externally. ? Work with relevant teams to ensure presence at relevant trade shows as well as category client events Requirements ? 10+ years related experience in advertising, marketing, or media strategy ? Bachelors degree or equivalent ? In-depth understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry ? Established relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers within the Pharmaceutical Industry ? Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales revenue targets ? Ability to create cross-function consensus around new ideas and initiatives, building confidence in the outcome. ? Excellent presentation skills to senior executives both internal and external ? Requires minimal direction, with heavy responsibility for final results - limited only by company policies and budgets ? Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills ?
