Job description The Associate Partner (AP) will be responsible for sales and delivery of IBM consulting services to mid-market clients, primarily in the US West Region covering Oracle computer services and/or software company opportunities & clients. Responsibilities include developing channel and client relationships at the C-level, and identifying and closing new business opportunities which utilize Global Business Services capabilities and other IBM services. The AP will create proposals and statements of work (SOWs), as well as oversee project delivery of their engagements. Delivery responsibilities include providing advice and counsel to clients, and oversight and accountability for delivery success and client satisfaction. The AP will work collaboratively with sales and delivery as well as other areas within IBM to anticipate and leverage innovative business solutions. Over time, he/she will be expected to manage a practice of delivery resources and provide mentoring, performance, and career direction. Required * Bachelors Degree * At least 5 years experience in consulting and sales * At least 5 years experience in large scale Oracle 11i engagements * Readiness to travel up to 75%%; travelling 5 days a week, home on weekends * English: Fluent Preferred * Masters Degree * At least 5 years experience in hands-on program management with multiple full-life cycles * At least 2 years experience in sales and delivery with proven track record selling $6 - $10 million per year Additional information As the majority of our work is performed at client sites with significant travel required, applicants must live near major metropolitan airports.
