Description: |My Career Center|View Job Cart| Mgr - Human Resources PRSM-005791 Human Resources 2000 - Active Cosmetics Divisions New York NY FUNCTION: Provide full HR Generalist support to the Active Cosmetics Sales organization for the following skincare brands: La Roche-Posay, SkinCeuticals, Vichy & Dermablend. This position will focus on field-based sales professional and managerial recruitment, resolution of a wide variety of employee relations issues, experienced talent management, facilitation of Divisional Sales recruitment, and improving organizational effectiveness. Lead various HR initiatives/projects. Provide a Business Partner and Relationship Management approach in working with key managers and customer groups in the Sales organization. Ensures optimal level and quality service, efficiency and responsiveness to organizational objectives. RECRUITMENT 1. Recruitment and hire of professional sales and management level as assigned by VP. Target recruitment sources to generate quality candidates in a timely manner and provide guidance to operating management in recruitment and selection. Selects candidates for positions by screening applications from write-ins, employee referrals, internal transfers, advertisements, agencies, etc. 2. Utilize internet-based recruitment process and electronic resume tracking within corporate guidelines. Will function as key contact for sourcing candidates via internet. 3. Administer internal job posting system and function as key contact to monitor internal applicant process. EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT 1. Work with line management on resolving a wide variety of employee relations issues. Provide counsel and interpretation to management on best management practice and human resources policies. Provides guidance to employees and supervisors on such matters as performance management and disciplinary actions, etc. Collectively work with manager and Legal on most difficult and complex issues. 2. Conduct exit interviews to uncover any organizational/managerial issues, recommend possible solutions and implement accordingly. 3. Work with Sales Management to address any individual or organizational training needs. SALES TALENT DEVELOPMENT 1. Work with Sales Management to improve performance standards and build the professional talent pipeline for Sales by monitoring performance levels and assessments and networking at industry related events. 2. Facilitate experienced Sales talent movement across Active Cosmetics Division. 3. Assume responsibility for and improvement of all headcount tracking, reporting, and reconciliation to corporate and financial data. 4. Coordinate future on-campus recruitment process as needed. MISCELLANEOUS / TRANSACTIONAL 1. Analyze data and evaluate workforce demographics, turnover, recruitment effectiveness, succession plan gaps and organizational development needs. Make data-based recommendations to drive organizational improvement. 2. Enter data into the HRIS system, including but not limited to, job requisitions, new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, reports, etc. 3. Assist with the planning and execution of the annual Salary Exercise Process. 4. Lead various HR projects/initiatives for Sales. 5. Initiate and follow up on leaves, Disability and Workmen s Compensation process and resolve relevant issues. 6. Manage and reconcile monthly Sales Headcount documents. 7. Manage the Talent Appraisal Process. 8. Handles confidential assignments and special projects as assigned by the VP and/or General Manager; assists other team members as necessary in handling HR initiatives.

MEASUREMENT OF PERFORMANCE: Performance will be determined by the ability, timeliness and completion of goals and objectives to include: " Quality of candidates referred , timeliness and cost effectiveness with which positions are filled, diversity in applicant flow and selection. " Overall service responsiveness to the division. " Efficient and effective functioning of all human resources administrative procedures. " Effective written and verbal communication skills. " Use of sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive human resources issues.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE: Bachelor s degree in related field 4-5 years SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION: " Direct experience with high-volume recruiting and employee relations; experience working with remote-based employee population in fast-paced environment strongly preferred. " Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, practices and laws, compensation, EEO and HRIS. " Must have the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management. " Must display a high degree of sensitivity in dealing with employees work related concerns and problems. " Make personnel decisions in sensitive areas using discretion, sound judgment and an assessment of the situation in order to formulate a valid resolution. " Must have a sense of urgency and service orientation, with a high level of flexibility and responsiveness required. " Ability to travel 40%%. REQUIREMENTS: Direct experience with high-volume recruiting and employee relations; experience working with remote-based employee population in fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
