Responsibilities: Supervision of plant and MDU electronic design including plant extensions, node splits, and MDU new construction design. Development of design specifications and system base maps. Supervision of field surveys for plant extensions, new construction, commercial accounts, plant relocations and serviceability requests. Supervision of design staff including training and evaluation. Preparation of departmental budgets. Preparation of monthly reports and statistics. Qualifications: At least two years of college required. Bachelors degree preferred. A minimum of three years experience in CATV system design, fiber optic design, MDU design, and system powering. Computer literate with experience in CAD/MicroStation and Bentley Focus software. Good communication skills - ability to interface with other departments including Plant Engineering.
