Responsibilities: HVAC Commissioning Services Engineer The successful candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer; possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Mechanical Engineering program; have 5 or more years experience with either a consulting engineering firm commissioning building HVAC systems or a commissioning firm. Experience or familiarity with commissioning requirements of LEED is a plus. The candidate will have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry; possess strong oral and written communication skills and can work with CAD. Prepare basic deliverables and products including calculations, drawings and specifications. Requires thorough knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards. Examine field conditions as required to support development and completion of projects. In depth knowledge of general building construction and HVAC controls is essential. Ability to handle multiple complex assignments simultaneously. Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss future and or current projects. assist in the development of commissioning plans assist in the preparation of commissioning specifications and basis of design documents assist during design and submittal reviews assist the functional testing and verification of equipment and systems in the field. assist in the HVAC documentation processes and assist in the development of procedures related to commissioning activities.

Qualifications: Minimum of 7-10 years experience required, licensed PE a plus Experience working within an engineering department of a mission critical company or A/E firm a plus. Experience conducting presentations and knowledge of the industry. Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD. Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project Education Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum desirable, but not required. Associate's degree or certification from technical school or technical military training desirable.
