Our more than 2,200 reporters and editors in 130 bureaus around the globe cover markets and break news for 250,000-plus Bloomberg clients and hundreds of the worlds biggest newspapers. The Role Bloomberg Markets, the award-winning business magazine published by Bloomberg LP, is looking for a senior editor. The monthly magazine goes to all Bloomberg terminal subscribers around the world and is sold on newsstands and in bookstores across the U.S. and in selected business cities in Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will join a team of senior editors that works closely with magazine staff writers and with reporters from Bloomberg News, a global business news organization, in developing and editing in-depth features on finance, business, economics, and politics. The senior editor will be involved in all aspects of producing a magazine story, including photos, charts and layouts. Successful applicants should have at least 10 years of business journalism experience, including at least five years of editing. Experience on a national newsstand magazine is desirable. Ability to work to tight deadlines and follow house style is necessary. Knowledge of Wall Street and financial markets is a plus, as is experience editing non-U.S. stories. All applicants must submit samples of their work in order to be considered for the role. ***Qualifications -Bachelors degree -Experience working at a business magazine or the business section of a major newspaper -Ten years of business journalism experience, including at least five as an editor
