Description: Marketing Senior Full Time Experienced posted 09/20/07 New York, NY Requirements NE Region CRM & Digital Marketing Specialist Location: Grant Thorntons midtown New York office Reports to: Northeast Region Director of Marketing & Sales Interacts with: Northeast Regional Managing Partner; Northeast Marketing & Sales Team; Boston Office Managing Partner; New York Office Managing Partner; Philadelphia Office Managing Partner, National Director of Field Marketing, National SalesLogix (CRM) Steering Committee, National E-Marketing Senior Associate, Partners and Managers in Boston, New York and Philadelphia. Position Overview: Serve as the NE regions specialist for "SalesLogix" Client Relationship Management ("CRM") and digital marketing resources and capabilities. Provide and enhance sales reporting and electronic communications to members of the NE region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Develop, produce and enhance sales reporting for the Boston, New York and Philadelphia offices. Assist the NE Region Director of Marketing & Sales in developing new standardized and ad hoc sales reports. Assist in the analysis of these results. - Recommend, create and execute electronic communications and digital marketing initiatives for the NE region through the firms "Exact Target" e-comm process. - Serve as the NE Regions expert and champion for SalesLogix ("SLX"), Grant Thorntons Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") system. - Serve on/represent the region on the national SLX Steering Committee. Serve on regional and/or national task forces or special projects, as necessary. - Facilitate and communicate the roll-out of digital marketing and CRM system enhancements and new functions to users within the NE region. Assemble teams to test enhancements and manage quality assurance. - Design and distribute digital marketing and sales materials and internal communications such as email invitations, newsletters, et al. - Create and source best practices and new approaches utilizing CRM and digital marketing applications. - Provide tactical CRM support and guidance to users within the region by spearheading and coordinating data updates and regularly monitoring the quality of data. Oversee and participate in data entry and integrity, as well as automated data transfer. - Conduct CRM training for all users via classroom as well as Centra-based learning sessions. Ensure adoption of SLX by all new Marketing & Sales professionals in the region, and promote a continuous learning environment for CRM users. Encourage and facilitate use of SLX by client-facing professionals. - Serve as an extension of the national Market Intelligence Center by performing database searches using SLX and online research databases such as Capital IQ, First Research, OneSource, Hoovers, et al. Work with the NE Regional Director of Marketing & Sales to analyze market data and identify trends. - Enable NE offices to maintain active client lists by periodically providing appropriate CMS (Client Management System) reports for verification. - Coordinate and manage temporary resources needed to perform data entry or "clean-up" updates on behalf of the offices within the NE region. - Provide project management and internal communications support to the NE Region Marketing & Sales Director for regional initiatives. Examples may include: - Enhancing a monthly (or more frequent) regional publication that educates, celebrates and inspires client-facing professionals about business development, with feature stories about successful pursuits of new clients, cross-sell accomplishments, NE colleagues creating and demonstrating thought leadership, et al. - Developing, scorekeeping and publicizing NE regional sales competitions. - Serving as online editor of the NE regions intranet site, updating it so it is a more useful resource and site to visit. - Additional responsibilities, as assigned.

Working Relationships - Interact with national and regional Marketing & Sales team members to: - receive direction and guidance from marketing and sales leadership in the performance of responsibilities. - share and receive advice and feedback on CRM ideas, research analysis, and best practices. - share and receive advice and feedback on digital marketing and ecomm updates, processes and best practices. - share and receive advice and feedback on creative ideas, direct marketing packaging and distribution, and best practices relating to visual communication. - share and access resources, tools and information. - Interact with Partners, Senior Managers, Managers and Business Development Executives ("BDEs") to: - conduct SalesLogix application training while promoting a continuous learning environment. - research target companies and identify marketplace trends that support them in increasing the acquisition of new clients, and new assignments with current clients. - solicit their input to develop and implement new CRM strategies and programs - solicit their input to develop and implement digital communications channels, approaches and techniques. - Interact with National SalesLogix Administrator and IT Manager to: - evaluate system enhancements - develop training programs, content, and communications - document system protocol - Interacts with National Graphic Design/Brand Identity Manager to learn, brainstorm, test, launch, manage and refine new media and technologies.

Preferred: - B.S. / B.A. in marketing, information systems or related field - Experience and proficiency with CRM systems, HTML, QuarkExpress, Photoshop, and other design programs. - Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, FrontPage). - 3 - 7+ years of marketing and/or communications experience - Excellent writing and presentation skills
