GENERAL DESCRIPTION . Manage the creation, production, and distribution of all TV, Print, Radio, and Web based marketing materials that are used in the promotion of all HBO pay-per-view events to consumers and the trade. These materials are produced generally in both English and Spanish. Develop and maintain relationships with in- and out-of- house creative services. Act as primary liaison with creative services and ensure that HBO PPV materials are creatively effective, financially efficient, on the leading edge of cable and satellite industry promotional materials, and delivered under very strict time constraints. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: . Provide insight and direction in the development of the creative strategy behind each PPV events marketing campaign. This includes researching creative strategies and preparing a creative brief for each PPV event. . Oversee print production projects from the direction phase to delivery (i.e. ad slicks, posters, direct mail, bill stuffers) . Develop and maintain relationships with HBO Photo Services, set up and direct photo shoots with talent. . Assist in the creation of radio and television materials to support creative strategy. . Manage the production of web advertising inserts to support media strategy. . Interact with event promoters. Presenting creative strategies and marketing materials. . Interact with live site locations and direct the creation of site specific marketing materials. . Manage marketing associate in the execution of the production process. REQUIREMENTS: . 7+ years marketing experience with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously . Experience in sports and/or brand marketing and managing the creative process required . Experience in sports and web marketing a plus. . Extraordinary creativity required; must have the ability to inspire and direct creative teams and to solve creative problems . Previous experience managing marketing staff/coordinators a plus . Excellent organization, time management, prioritization, presentation, and communication skills required . Interest in sport and ability to interact with talent, managers, and promoters . Some weekend travel to live events required (approximately 6 weekends per year) . Fluency or conversational knowledge of Spanish a plus . B.S. degree in marketing required (MBA preferred)
