Duties and Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this position are..
* Oversee the strategic planning, logistics, and budget for conferences and events within K12, including all regional and national educational tradeshows and special events such as dinners, golf tournaments, sponsorships and networking functions * Serve as liaison between Marketing, Design, Field Management, Product Management, and Executive Management groups * Track and report ROI for each event, manage lead return, and communicate results to upper management for budgeting and strategic purposes * Identify and manage third party vendors to fully execute successful conferences, tradeshow exhibits, hotel stays, transportation, and other planned components of events * Manage marketing event staff and coordinate with regional marketing liaisons to ensure that they have completed all of the logistics, communication, and administrative tasks to run successful events * Request and execute on the production of marketing campaigns aligned with events, tradeshow advertising, exhibit booth design, marketing collateral and signage * Project the conference/event annual budget and monitor costs effectively to ensure execution of events within budget * Develop and maintain effective documents for pre-, during-, and post-event processes Additional responsibilities of this position may include..
* Manage marketing inventory to ensure effective quantities at conferences * Provide input related to K12 branding and collateral development * Recommend effective website development and maintenance, especially related to event campaigns and messaging * Support other marketing initiatives as feasible and appropriate
Required Skills, Experience, and Credentials
* BA required with 3-5+ years of marketing background * Experience and interest in K-12 education * Proficient in Microsoft office * Ability to travel to conferences and events nationwide

* Interest and focus on supporting internal customer needs and K12 external customers (districts, schools) * Team player who has the ability to liaise with various department leaders as well as third party vendors * Effective ability to solve problems and recommend high-quality solutions within time sensitive situations * Excellent communication and project management skills * Ability to recommend change and improvements based on strategic analysis of K12 mission, products, and services * Skill set to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment yet still maintain high-quality outcomes
