We're committed to making every customer's experience a rewarding one, and as a member of our retail team, your contributions are a big part of our success.%%0A %%0A As our Market Investigator, you%%27ll be the Loss Prevention (LP) subject matter expert and primary partner with the District LP Manager and Retail Store Managers in an effort to reduce inventory shortages and minimize the business risk across multiple stores. You%%27ll utilize multiple methods and processes including exception-based reporting (XBR) and local store reports (GSS) to uncover dishonesty and identify trends within and across stores. You%%27ll review and resolve hot list and control point reports within your assigned district on a weekly basis, maintain detailed and comprehensive internal case files, and interview employees as needed. You%%27ll also reduce store known-theft frequency by addressing and resolving external theft issues; maintain proper reporting of incidents in the Loss Prevention Management System (LPMS); train store employees on the Nike shoplifting deterrence program (High Intensity Customer Service), ensuring all stores are accurately documenting known theft, ensuring prosecution guidelines are maintained, and appear in court as required. You%%27ll have clear and consistent communication with the District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM) and Store Managers (SM); adopt a face-to-face 360-degree feedback approach with the DLPM and SM; and coordinate and execute monthly strategic planning with key business partners to identify upcoming events needing LP support. You%%27ll utilize store huddles to promote LP awareness to store associates; participate in weekly management meetings to communicate store LP issues; trends and action plans, and actively participate on the weekly Market Investigator call. In addition, you%%27ll educate store management on Loss Prevention processes and tools (XBR, EJ, LPMS, HICS, etc), learn all Nike Retail general store operations, facilitate risk management and crisis management training for the LP team and store team, and facilitate employee orientation classes to educate all new hires on Nike LP.%%0A Requirements for the position include:%%0A %%0A%%0A * Bachelor%%27s degree and 2 years%%27 relevant work experience (or a 2-year technical degree with 4 years%%27 relevant work experience)%%0A * Demonstrated successful experience executing strategies to prevent and reduce loss and shrink in a retail store environment%%0A * Successful experience training store management teams and associates on shoplifting deterrence with a focus on high-intensity customer service%%0A * Multi-store loss prevention experience%%0A * Previous experience with loss prevention processes and tools such as XBR%%0A * Demonstrated consistent, successful experience with internal investigations%%0A * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with retail store operations%%0A * Wicklander certification preferred%%0A * Travel between stores approximately 75%% of the time (with some overnight travel) %%0A * Incumbents generally must be able to, with or without accommodation, have the proficient use of both sensory perception/clarity and muscle control/coordination.
