BearingPoints Banking practice within the Financial Services Sector is currently seeking a manager to run mid to large-scale financial consulting projects in the banking industry. Location/s: USA Relocation: No Performance Profile: ? The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and direction of multiple consulting projects or a single large and complex project for Financial Services clients. Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining a client base, managing client relationships, building and mentoring project teams. ? Will also assist business development teams with writing and presenting proposals for large or complex projects; ability to take conceptual ideas and/or raw data and translate into business messages is recommended ? Day to day responsibilities include: practice solution development, project planning, engagement management, budget management, resource allocation and vendor management. ? Shares practice management and performance management responsibilities including the overall management of project teams and development and review of staff. Requirements: ? Must have 10+ years experience at a senior management level (VP or above) in a large bank or financial institution with a combination of at least four of the following skills: finance, accounting, activity-based costing, strategic planning, business transformation, treasury operations, customer relationship management, SOX and business process improvement. ? Strong project management skills are required including but not limited to meeting facilitation, leadership of client and BearingPoint teams, deliverable production and quality review, and strict adherence to timelines and deadlines ? Subject Matter Expert in finance, accounting, and other bank operations systems. ? All candidates will have significant financial services experience in either a multi-national bank or a professional services firm, working with multinational banking clients and should have good generalist financial services skills. ? Strong computer skills are recommended for applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. ? Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Thursday travel schedule ? Candidates must have current US work authorization Education and Experience ? Bachelors degree required. ? CPA required
