More information about this job: Overview: Accountabilities: . Deliver Corporate Financial Plans by strategically driving metrics including sales, margin, turn and GMROI . Deliver Brand/Channel Initiatives

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Provide financial insight related to inventory . Assess and communicate risks and opportunities across multiple channels . Share early identification of problem areas to allow proactive vs. reactive response . Develop forward projections for inventory levels . Participate in monthly financial review (Open to Buy) to present findings to Leadership . Provide ongoing financial insight into operational efficiencies related to inventory . Supply/Demand balancing and reporting and monitor reserve forecasts vs. budget; identify risks/opportunities . Prepare special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required Co-own physical inventory process . Partner with Corporate inventory accounting on timing and process of physical counts . Develop processes, criteria, timeline and accountabilities for divisions within the brand . Partner with Retail Operations in establishing process . Partner with Corporate on financial reconciliations . Provide physical inventory results to business partners at category level, highlighting future risks/opportunities Monitor and accurately forecast potential variances in standard vs. actual costing . Partner with Finance, Production and A/P to monitor costing . Communicate to cross-functional teams Develop liquidation strategies . Identify risks and opportunities based on analytical observations and provide recommendations to deliver overall company financial objectives . Reforecast the business and provide inventory management recommendations and options . Optimize sales, margin and inventory movement Develop value-added cross-divisional and cross-functional partnerships . Maintain awareness of business activities . Leverage knowledge and best practices . Key partnerships with Planning, Distribution, Production, Merchandising and Finance

Qualifications: Required Skills & Experience . 4-year degree; advanced degree a plus. . 4-5 years Retail/Wholesale Planning experience; 7 or more years of total work experience . Strong knowledge of financial and accounting concepts . Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner . Demonstrated experience o Presenting and recommending strategies and building a business case o Strategic forecasting for a multi-dimensional business o Ability to interpret and synthesize data o Influencing and negotiating at a variety of levels . Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting complex material in an organized and compelling manner . Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment . Well-versed in Excel and Power Point, as well as advanced Microsoft windows applications.
