Description: Manager, Emerging Payments Industry Standardization AutoReqId 108616BR Responsibilities He/She will be joining a highly motivated team of individuals who are dedicated to taking a proactive industry position to ensure the appropriate standardization to drive interoperability in the areas of mobile/ internet commerce, authentication, new spend categories, and emerging payment services. In this externally facing role, he/she will have global responsibilities for representing AXP network at boards and industry conferences to ensure AXPs interoperability and alignment with industry direction. This will require providing leadership and direction to other teams within AXP to ensure that business strategies and initiatives are aligned. Responsibilities include: . Participate in global industry standards setting bodies to influence innovations and standardization direction, e.g. NFC Forum, Mobey Forum, GSMA, Financial Services Technical Consortium (FSTC), Information Card Foundation . Aid in developing a new global industry coverage strategy to ensure that AXP is "at the table" . Represent AXP network at industry conferences and on boards, including speaking engagements . Provide industry feedback to Emerging Payments Strategy Development team to incorporate into strategies and points of view . Ensure that AXPs specifications and acquirer, issuer. merchant guides and training are updated based on changes in industry standards .
