RESPONSIBILITIES * CreateNew Yorktalent idea lists for ABC Entertainment programs, as well as general casting, on an ongoing basis. * Listen to and review pitches from talent representatives as it pertains to current and future casting, and maintain and build relationships with these representatives. * Audition, guide, and evaluateNew Yorkactors for consideration in primetime programs. * Consult withLos Angelesexecutives, producers and independent casting directors on each project and advise onNew Yorkactors that should be considered for projects and/or development * Scout talent at theater, comedy and film festivals, and showcases for current and future casting ideas and distribute ongoing department reports that detail findings.

Basic Requirements Education: High School/Bachelors or equivalent

Number of Years of Work Experience: At least 3 years

Technical Skills: * Bachelor’s Degree * Must be a self starter able to work with minimal supervision * Willingness to work overtime, and/or on weekends with short notice * Must work well under pressure * Strong organizational skills * Superior attention to detail * Pro-active, forward thinking * Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously * Excellent communication skills * Strong work ethic * Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered * Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in theUnited States Non-Technical Skills: * Good communication and organization skills * Attention to detail PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School/Bachelors or equivalent
