The BearingPoint Insurance Practice is currently searching for a Manager to support client Life and Annuities practice. Location/s: Northeast, MidAtlantic, Southeast, Midwest Relocation: No Performance Profile: -This Manager role will be an individual contributor who will be working on product development for Life/Annuities products and actuarial processes. -Responsible for developing/architecting a solution where a tool will be implemented into an environment with multiple administration systems to provide a single facility for product development. -Responsible for gathering/understanding business rules and rating algorithms. -Responsible for input of information into the selected vendors configuration tool. -The successful candidate will interact with clients on a daily basis and must have solid communication skills.

Position-specific Requirements: -Candidate must have 5+ years of management consulting and strategy development/execution experience within a financial services environment. Experience in Life/Annuities is preferred but not required. -At least 2 years experience managing a team(s) toward the completion of a project. -Experience in building/planning business architecture in an FS environment is preferred. -Experience developing and delivering presentations to clients is a must. -Must have strong understanding of business requirements and extensive experience in gathering requirements and using a structured methodology preferably within a Financial Services environment. -Understanding of policy processing through full policy lifecycle (i.e. new business, renewals, etc.) is helpful. -Working knowledge of QA Testing process is preferred -Understanding of how to configure Life and Annuities products is helpful -Experience in gathering and documenting policy & underwriting business rules is helpful. -Candidates with current or prior Big 4 or boutique consulting experience are preferred. Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule. Candidates must have current US work authorization.
