Position Purpose: Role: Manager/Business Analyst, Fixed Income Products Works as a senior business analyst in Fixed Income Technology, supporting all FIC Trade Capture, Pricing and Electronic trading initiatives. Candidate has to have strong understanding of the Fixed Income business (Rates, Credit and Derivatives flow products). This role requires coordination between multiple internal partners (Risk, Operations, IT, Front-Office). The candidate has to be viewed as the go-to person for getting things done. This role requires building partnerships with the end users, performing detailed analysis, engaging the tech-lead during the implementation phase, executing UAT and working with the desk throughout the deployment phases. It is necessary for the person to be perceived as a partner for the business, rather than a task-taker. The incumbent has to exercise sound judgment for when business push-back is appropriate, and come up with the best way of brokering agreement between different groups. Key Accountabilities: Primary Objectives . Define functional/business requirements and workflow documents. . Work closely with the Front Office to define and drive initiatives in the US Fixed Income space. . Partners closely with the development teams to ensure there is full understanding of the requirements. . Work with all areas of IT and the business to ensure that all aspects of the project are covered and well defined from execution to settlement. . Drive projects through completion (from spec thru UAT and post-deployment) . Work closely with QA team to ensure high quality of the product . Work closely with application support. . Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves project issues and escalates to senior management where required. . Research new trends in the market, being aware of trends in the competition and come up with new ideas for driving the business forward: 10%% Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): Technical . Experience with Enterprise Fixed Income Front Office Trading applications. . Experience in dealing with all major Dealer to Dealer and Dealer to Client platforms that are relevant for the US Fixed Income business. (connectivity protocols etc.) . Understanding of electronic trading, STP and matrix pricing. . Understanding of current technologies in the Electronic trading and pricing space, test and deployment tools . Involvement in Industry initiatives Business . Experience with electronic trading aspects of the Global Fixed Income business, such as current and emerging new markets, connectivity, auto-quoting, distribution, etc. . Experience with full trade lifecycle events, and its technical and operational support. Client on-boarding, pricing, trading, settlement. . Experience in Business Analysis, in particular business workflow, functional specification, use case documentation. . In depth experience in US Fixed Income products. Understanding of pricing, electronic trading, trade processing for these products.
