Three to five years hairdressing and makeup experience. Esthetician and Cosmetologists license or certified training from an accreditied school or salon is required. Duties: Staff Makeup Artist and Hairdresser for the Courtroom Television Network. Esthetician and Cosmetologists license or certified training from an accreditied school or salon is required Position requires employee to work Monday-Friday 8A-5P. Limited Overtime available. Candidate must be an established live television MU Artist as well as Hairdresser with three to five years experience. Experience in multi-ethnicity hair a must as well as with high profile talent. Must be able to achieve outstanding results in a short period of time. Must be good working under time constraints and work well under pressure. In addition to being artistic and creative, this person must be professional and work well within the Corporate environment. Must be able to work well alone and on a team. Duties: The Hair and Make Up Artist will be responsible for creating an up to date look in regards to make-up application and haristlying for anchors, reporters and guests. In addition to make-up application and hair stlying, daily responsibilities include keeping work station organized and clean. Watching air to make sure anchors and reporters continually look good and going on set to do touch-ups as needed is an essential part of the job. Make-up/Hair Stylists need to be flexible and work at a fast pace. They need to be proficient in hair blowouts and excel in "finishing" hair so that it lasts.
