Description: Our client large company in NYC are looking for Desktop PC/MAC support analysts to join their team the consultant will be part of a 4 technicians responsible for providing desktop support for 350 end users with issues involving Windows XP, Mac OS 10.4, Outlook, Blackberry, hardware, Adobe, and MS Office. On the day to day basis will be supporting team supporting 300-350 users They are supporting 50%% users with MAC OS X10.5, Entourage,Tiger, Panther and 50%% users with Windows XP, Outlook, Blackberries, Active Directory. The MAC hardware is Intel and G5's (removing G4's and replacing with the Intels). The candidate will be doing all hardware and software support, including installs, imaging machines using Ghost, building PCs from scratch, loading the imaging, configuring the user's profiles, attaching them to network and joining them to the domains, and documenting inventory. They also have to be prepared to do physical work (moves/adds/changes, disconnect/reconnect of hardware). To qualify for this position, individual should have 2-4 years experience in a MAC OS and Windows environment, communication and customer skills are extremely important to this client. .
