Consulting services include: * Corporate litigation readiness plan analysis and design * E-discovery education and consulting * Litigation departmental review and best practices * Litigation support—strategy, project management, and interim staffing * Computer forensics and expert witness services * Vendor assessment, selection, and management * Data acquisition, processing, hosting, and production * Enterprise database staging, review, and production * Data conversion and custom development * Review coordination and sourcing * Trial support Specific Responsibilities The successful candidate will: * Manage large scale litigation projects within law firm or corporate environment * Have responsibility for litigation support team involved in all litigation phases, including collection, vendor selection and management, document review, document production and pre-trial phase activities * Interact with clients to develop strong client relations, and demonstrating high level of commitment to client success. * Gather requirements and transforming them into recommendations, road maps and design specifications. * Develop and utilize strong analytical skills (ability to assess the facts of a situation, research potential solutions and determine appropriate, unbiased course of action). * Communicate both orally and in writing to clients, cross-organizational teams, vendors, and industry * Apply product knowledge and experience to our client’s business processes, practices, and tools as a billable service. * Manage projects, including timeline, budgets, resources and client expectations. * Stay abreast of industry changes and technology advances including maintaining relationships with critical industry contacts. * Work with other subject matter experts, within and outside of Thomson Litigation Consulting, to develop holistic client solutions. * Draft articles and deliver presentations. * Collaborate with other consultants on maintaining and expanding relationships with targeted clients, identifying cross-selling opportunities and enabling collaboration across functional areas. * Utilize knowledge of industry needs and the firm’s services to sell professional services and solutions to existing and prospective clients. * Regularly identify new and expanded opportunities for realization of business development plans. * Work closely with senior management in strategic planning and implementation of the firm’s business initiatives. * Maintain a high-level of interaction with both key and potential clients. * Maintain a high-level of interaction with both key and potential technology venders. Qualifications * Candidates must possess the following skills and/or attributes: * Familiarity/expertise with current electronic discovery practices * Familiarity/expertise with current litigation support applications, including, but not limited to: Summation, Concordance, SteelPoint Introspect, Ringtail, and hosted repositories * Demonstrated ability to act as primary litigation support point of contact for legal teams * Demonstrated ability to manage diverse project teams, including technical resources * Experience with large litigation projects, defined as over 5 million pages reviewed and produced * Technical aptitude * Willingness to take "hands on" approach to project management and problem solving * Strong communication skills * "Get it done" attitude * Willingness to commit to our travel requirements. * Reputation and influence within the law firm community such that opportunities such as new business and key speaking and writing assignments are offered when available. * High degree of confidence and energy level coupled with leadership initiative. * Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences of varying degrees of expertise. * A polished, executive presence and professional image. * The ability to produce work of the highest quality under tight deadlines. * Strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to effectively juggle competing demands. * A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. * Willing to travel up to 100%% Our employees embrace a number of commonly shared values - collaboration, accountability, customer focus, a bias toward action and results, appreciation and respect for diversity, entrepreneurial spirit and, at all times, the highest ethical standards.
