Description: Posting Title Latin/Dance Charts Manager Job State NY : NEW YORK Job City New York Name of Company Nielsen Business Media Requisition ID (optional) 8657BR Job Function Analytics/Modeling Job Status Full-time Position Description Nielsen Business Medias Billboard Magazine currently has an opening for a Latin/Dance Charts Manager. Position responsibilites include: .Classify Latin music albums and track for proper chart eligibility. .Act as Latin music representative for the publications and sites with record labels, radio, retail and distribution. Initiate and accept all call/inquiries from those sectors as well as attend industry functions germane to those formats. .Prepare all necessary functions, including proofreading, to publish charts in print and on web sites. .Provide chart analysis. .Ensure quality of data provided. .Prepare recap data for finalists and winners of Billboard Latin Music Awards, approve chart references in script, and may be called upon to moderate or plan panels for Billboard conferences. .If the best Latin Music candidate has the appropriate awareness of Dance music, he or she will also be asked to serve the same roles with our various Dance charts, as well as oversee reporter surveys for Hot Club Dance Play. This job may be located in either Los Angeles or New York City pending location of selected qualified candidate. Job Requirements .Fluent in Spanish, written and verbal. .Knowledge of Latin genres and/or Latin radio formats. .College education preferred. Knowledge of Excel, helpful. Education Qualifications Bachelors degree
