Position Overview: KIPP NYC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Recruitment and Talent Development to further develop and oversee the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a comprehensive recruitment and talent development strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director of Finance and HR and working closely with the Director of Human Resources, the Director of Recruitment and Talent Development will supervise two Talent Recruiters. This position will be a critical part of the Shared Services Team (comprising Development, Operations, Finance, HR and Technology).

Responsibilities: • Serve as thought leader on the Shared Services Team on all issues related to talent recruitment, growth, and retention • Manage two Talent Recruiters and collaborate with them to develop and implement a creative, competitive, and cost-effective approach for recruiting diverse, high-quality talent for all schools and programs • Oversee the creation of KIPP NYC's compensation function by managing position description development and making salary recommendations • Develop and implement a talent strategy for supporting long-term growth, including effective organizational staffing and succession planning • Partner with Program Leaders and Superintendent to build a comprehensive program for professional development and retention of all staff, including, but not limited to, strategies for staff training, leadership development, career paths, and staff retention • In coordination with Director of Human Resources, develop and implement organization-wide performance evaluation and professional development policies; work closely with senior leaders within the organization to ensure proper training and execution
