Description: Job Title: Junior Project Manager, Book Clubs Online Requisition #: NY4021 Area of Interest: Project Management Business Division: Book Clubs Wkly Std Hours: 35 Days Per Week: Std Work Week (Mon - Fri) Position Type: Full-Time Regular City: New York - SoHo State: New York Description: The Junior Project Manager is the primary liasion between marketing & design/development for all online Book Club content. This positions objective is to provide basic creative & functional feedback during the concept phase of a project to achieve proper web articulation, on time. DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: Creative Services for Book Clubs Online works with marketing, promotions and eScholastic to create, produce and execute the monthly Book Club catalogs as well as online only exclusives for two applications: COOL (Clubs Ordering Online) and PCOOL (Parent Clubs Ordering Online). This department also creates and executes all Book Club emails and Book Club online initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Coordinate with marketing to build a monthly schedule for the Book Club season (includes emails & initiatives) * Create wireframes for approximately 20 monthly web projects based on marketing input, basic design principles and online best practices * Initiate and implement improvements to the creative process * Review printed flyers and work with print teams to brainstorm web articulation * Research website marketed towards teachers, parents and students * Work on custom projects with the guidance of the department manager

Requirements: * Bachelors Degree and 2 years of project management or traffic management experience in a fast-paced environment * Understanding of web and multimedia development process * Highly self-motivated problem solver with a willingness to work as long as it takes to get the job well done * Highly organized and detail oriented * Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines * Excellent verbal and writen skills * Interest in education and/or childrens books preferred

* HTML and Photoshop experience preferred
