Description: Responsibilities for the Junior Private Equity Accountant include:

- Reviewing the accounting records for a $6+ billion family of private equity funds
- Preparing quarterly reporting
- Working with auditors on an interim and annual basiss
- Handling the quarterly valuation process for the portfolio companies
- Preparing quarterly projections of current deals in portfolio
- Dealing with investor relations or with investors directly regarding investor inquiries and reporting
- Handling ad hoc requests from CEO and CFO

Required Skills:
- 2-4 years of public or private accounting experience
- Private equity, hedge fund, or mutual fund experience
- Strong Excel and Word skills
