Description:
As the Junior Helpdesk Specialist you will:
- Respond to and resolve help desk calls including research and testing when necessary
- Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of workstations, laptops and printers
- Respond to and resolve Blackberry and cell phone user issues
- Create and reset user accounts in active directory
- Contribute to and enhance problem resolution database
- Keep supervisor informed of all business-critical issues and outages
- Document work performed
- Perform other technology related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Travel to sites in New York, Westchester, Newark, Boston and Pennsylvania
- Maintain security logs and records
- Maintain asset database
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of help desk experience
- Background in hardware configuration, Windows and Microsoft Office functionality and troubleshooting
