Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities: .Design and sketch original product ideas. .Review and select materials and colors. .Review and technically correct first prototypes, and all samples stages in order to achieve final approval samples. .Present concepts/trends to design director and merchandising. .Shop retail stores for inspiration and competition. .Finishing details (closures, castings, manipulation components, findings) must be thought out in design stage, not left up to product development .Work directly with the Design Manager for to identify, recommend and develop new designs and jewelry lines and posses knowledge of the jewelry industry and new trends to accurately identify and qualify target, key, and prospective product development while traveling internationally to explore design markets abroad; Technical Specs: .Understanding metal castings - Able to describe and manipulate metals to achieve the look and texture of what the final product should look like. .Must have technical knowledge of Materials - Semi-precious and precious gemstones, plastic. Leathers, suede, metal, etc. .Clean technical sketches of all views with measurements (top, side ,back and 3/4 views). Detailed information about the Jewelry such as materials use, colors, finishes, etc.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: .Sketching abilities both technical and illustrative. .Must have excellent communication skills with overseas offices. .5+ years experience in Accessories/jewelry design. Skills: .Illustrator and or CAD experience. .Sketching .Computer: Word and Excel
