Position Description: Business Analyst for Reference Data Group. Reference Data Group (RDG), part of Operations and Product Control IT, is responsible for strategy, design, development, maintenance and support of the reference data systems in the Investment Banking division. The RDG incorporates several IT systems that store and maintain product, pricing and customer data. Reference data is utilized by a wide range of IT applications in the bank, from the trading applications in the front office, research applications, to settlements, operations, and other back office applications. This role is critical for supporting various initiatives across the firm in Equities, Fixed Income and Operations.

Key Responsibilities: - Liaise with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to understand business problems, propose solutions and prioritize work, covering day-to-day issues with RDG clients - Ensure that all stakeholders are involved in pre-studies and definition phases to implement a solution Ideal candidates will have the following: - Strong communication & presentation skills - Exposure to Market data and Banking Reference Data technologies and business terminology - Sound industry/product knowledge, specifically of fixed income, equity and derivatives products - Ability to work with diverse groups of people, across interdisciplinary functional areas - Flexible - ability to easily adapt to changes

Qualifications Experience and Skills Required/Desired: Required Work Experience: - Experience in Financial Services Desirable Work Experience: - Working in Investment Banking or Asset Management Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge: - Relational Database Experience Office Tools (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint) Desirable Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge: - Database design concepts Required Education and Professional Qualifications: - First Degree in Business or Technical Discipline
