Departmental Overview: HRIT is part of Credit Suisse Corporate Systems and is a global operation. HRIT has team members in Zurich, New York, Raleigh and Singapore. Corporate Systems is part of the overall IT organization of Credit Suisse. It manages all internally used systems like Finance and HR systems. Position Description: An HRIT Business analyst is responsible for ensuring that business requirements for new demand on HR applications or changes on existing ones are clearly identified, prioritized and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions. Involvement continues throughout the development lifecycle of any solution. Position requires eliciting, analyzing, This position is the key interface between users and developers and therefore the candidate would have deep business knowledge across multiple business areas and a technical appreciation across a range of technologies Key Responsibilities: Skills: * Develop functional area expertise with business engineering standards, tools and techniques. Strategic Alignment: * Understand how business and IT strategies align with projects in the supported organizations. * Extend understanding of business and IT strategies, drivers and processes at the project to department level. Business requirements, Business architecture: * In moderately complex environments, articulate the business conditions and opportunities; elicit, analyze, Product Assessments: * Define business criteria for product evaluations and build vs. buy decisions. Project Support: * Provide subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables. Standard Procedures: * Apply business engineering standards. * Ensure the traceability of individual requirements and adherence to the defined requirements management process

Qualifications Experience and Skills Required/Desired: * Preferably Bachelors degree in IT or Business Administration * PeopleSoft HR expertise is required * English mandatory, German optional * Project Management experience is required * Highly developed analytical skills, written and oral communication skills, project management and people management skills. * Experience in the field of Business analysis, process engineering and Functional specification, particularly in PeopleSoft ERP environments. * HR process background, Compensation in financial Industry * Experience in Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering * Project Management experience * Excellent English communication and negotiation skills * Ability to influence people * Ability to work detail oriented, as well as to abstract and see the "big picture" * Experience with working in international teams and on international projects * Experience in working with and engineering of PeopleSoft based applications --------------------------------- Credit Suisse is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in its employment decisions on the basis of any protected category.
