Description: Responsibilities for the International Tax Manager include:
- Working closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities
- Interacting closely with clients to provide innovative international tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise
- Conducting primary and secondary review of complex international tax returns
- Developing and managing staff
- Monitoring multiple client services teams
- Providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients
- Managing the delivery of a full range of international tax services
- Advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations
- Creating a project vision
- Setting personal and client service team goals
- Mentoring staff on tax projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews
- Coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy
Required Skills:
- 10-20 years international tax experience
- Strong compliance skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation
