Description: International Media Firm needs a Compensation Analyst

My client is one of the worlds leading Media company. With offices around the globe and marquee named accounts, my client is expanding rapidly and therefore is in need of a Compensation Analyst. This is a wonderful opportunity for a junior financial analyst to break into a hybrid career in finance/accounting and HR. As the Compensation Analyst, your duties include working with all departments in the company on salary trends, compensation packages and salary budgets for the North America operations. In addition to working with salaries, the Compensation Analyst will be responsible with assisting with the month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, SOX compliance, etc. Key requirements to qualify for this position are: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, Excellent Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, etc), minimum of 2 years of experience as a financial or compensation analyst and/or accounting, strong understanding of accounting and finance (monthly close process, budgets and forecasts, variance reporting, etc.).
