Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS


Understand customer's international business model and how supply chain solutions may improve the value of their supply chains.


Assist the core sales force in winning larger complex international opportunities.


Identify, develop, and implement international solutions that impact the customer's supply chain utilizing the following offering:


* Integrated International Air and Ocean Freight services (Inbound / Outbound)


* International Brokerage Service


* Trade Direct Services


* Integrated technology solutions


Manage the sales process across multiple business units.


Develop multi-level customer relationships to uncover supply chain needs of key decision-makers including Presidents, CEO, CFO, COO, Vice-Presidents. Logistics Managers and General Managers.


Develop comprehensive pricing strategies that incorporate UPS' broad range of solutions, effectively negotiate complex pricing structure.


Engage international freight partners in overall international account strategy when necessary.


Understand competitor strategies, capabilities, and pricing patterns in order to position UPS products more advantageously.


Train, educate, and mentor the Sales force to improve international business acumen.


International shipping and brokerage knowledge


Strong computer skills, proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


Strong presentation and communication skills


Excellent sales, planning and organization skills


Customer, product and general business knowledge


Excellent problem solving and time management skills


Establish and manage both customer and internal relationships


Account development


Solid Knowledge of UPS technical solutions


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



Candidate is preferred to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management, Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics or related field


Candidate must have a minimum of two years of sales experience with UPS or a Freight Forwarder


Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.


Candidate must have a minimum of one year experience using Microsof Office Software (Word, Exel, Powerpoint)


Candidate must be willing to travel
