Job Description: We are currently looking for senior level consultants with healthcare finance experience. The position requires: * Senior level management experience in all financial areas of a hospital: general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, registration/billing/collections, third-party reimbursement, managed care, materials management, medical records, budgeting/forecasting and decision support. * Development and review of all financial reports such as cash flow reports, productivity reports, and product line profitability reports. * Resource budgeting and client billing for consulting services * Coordination and management of consulting resources and onsite teams * Strong skills in fostering working relationships with client personnel at all levels * Communicating with consulting team leads * Facilitating client meetings * Developing team work plans * Coordination of project team activities * Actively participating in practice development * Supporting existing client project teams when required * Leading/supporting prospective client pursuits The ideal candidate will be detail oriented; have good written and verbal communication skills; good interpersonal skills and experience facilitating group meetings and interview sessions; strong analytical problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to work independently; strong project management experience; be open to extensive travel.
Job Requirements: * BA or BS required, preferably in accounting or finance; CPA preferred, but not required * 10+ years of healthcare financial experience with at least 5 years at the CFO level * Project management experience in areas including financial analysis, cost allocation, reimbursement and budgeting * Prior consulting experience is required This position requires 100%% travel and will be based out of one of our four healthcare regional offices: New York, Chicago, Houston or Los Angeles although there is significant flexibility for a home location.
