Description The Interaction Designer will develop interaction specifications and ensure adherence to GWM UI Guidelines. Requirements: * Provides interpretation and extends Citi Smith Barney’s brand for online * Creates usable navigational schemas from complex taxonomies; information design / architecture (i.e. content layout) based on a solid understanding of screen ergonomics * Translates Business/Functional Requirements/Use Cases into flat and interactive wireframes and site maps * Creates UI designs, interactions and deliverables that are esthetically pleasing, intuitive, and straightforward from an end user perspective. Generates mockups and prototypes using a variety of media and may present designs to business and technology partners to ensure all aspects of the system are represented and designed appropriately * Identify, escalate and resolve incidents and issues for UI * Establish, utilize, and champion for a comprehensive set of online design and usability standards and guidelines * Establish and utilize a design and usability frameworks and processes including personas, interaction design specification frameworks and tools, and usability “lab” * Manages his / her activities by creating estimates and managing their deliverables to plan * Web-based programming - UI programming, with experience in HTML (hand code), JavaScript, CSS, DHTML (RIA a plus)

Specifications / Qualifications * Education / Work Experience: BA or BS. 2+ years of experience in web design, information architecture, and/or usability testing; * Industry Experience: Experience with financial organizations (Brokerage, Private Banking, Consumer Banking etc.) preferred; * Project Management Experience: management of multi-month / year project, resource management; * Knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design.
