This position is a virtual office position requiring heavy travel (up to 75%%) and will require extensive in-person customer interaction. There are multiple openings in the US, in various regions. Assist partners and end customers in developing solutions, tuning OS deployment; configurations. Review application code and recommend better programming practices. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS +REQUIREMENTS BA Degree preferred. 5-8 years of core programming. Project Experience. Experience of working on at least 3 projects. Complete project life cycle experience of at least 2 projects. Technical Requirements * Primary Skills: Java, File IO, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Struts, EJB. SQL, Basic database administration of at least one RDBMS for example Oracle,DB2,postgres,MySQL. Development tools (eclipse, rational rose etc). Java Web services. * Minimum 2 years of experience on either BEAWeblogic, IBM Websphere, JBoss AS,. Exposure on Load testing tools. Sound knowledge of Java/J2EE design patterns. Secondary Skills Message Queues with,TIBCO,MS MQm, JBoss MQ etc Securing J2EE Applications Exposure on Open Source testing tools Exposure to Enterprise Linux. * Domain knowledge of either Telecommunications , Health Care , Retail, Banking. Key Requirements. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated experience communicating value, progress, and metrics (status) of key projects to required stakeholders and diverse audiences (technical and business). * Ability to constantly learn about new technologies and apply those concepts to customers needs. * Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong in Java Programming language. Good knowledge and working experience in any RDBMS Hands on experience in any J2EE Application Server (Weblogic, Websphere, Jboss,). * Ability to review code and have a good problem solving capability.
