Position Purpose: PURPOSE Responsible for meeting clients transactional needs in municipal bonds while minimizing risk and maximizing return for RBC. Key Accountabilities: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Identify key existing and target accounts. Work with clients to sell new issues, take orders and relay levels ? Ensure accurate and timely settlements ? Liaise with trading staff to ensure they are appropriately informed ? Ensure clients are fully aware of research platform ? Develop knowledge of territory and clients Managerial Excellence . Ensure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviours that contribute to RBC goals. . Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance. . Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities. Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): . BA, MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in economics or finance . Solid understanding of industry trends and market dynamics . Strong written and oral communication skills. . Minimum 8 years experience working in a 5 function.
