Position Purpose: The individual will work directly with the Head of the Execution Service Desk o perform Trading and Sales Trading function for designated Institutional Accounts. . The work environment is based on a office/trading floor, thus little physical effort is required . The office environment can be a high stress environment that requires quick turnaround and decision making . Working with the Trading staff requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to "think outside the box" Key Accountabilities: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Solicit business through value added dialogue with Buy-side trading clients. 2) Value added input includes: . Dissemination of research information to clients; . Marketing order flow; . Attend and coordinate selective client engagements to solicit RBC products and services; . Work with research, sales, market making, and investment banking to raise Firm exposure to our client base. 3) Remain apprised of industry trends and cycles and provide feedback to clients. 4) Receive buy-side orders and facilitate order execution.

The candidate will work directly with the Head of U.S. Execution Service Desk, as well as the interact directly with the U.S. Equity Trading staff, Research Sales staff, the Regulatory Risk staff, operational support staff, and several global business analysts. Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): Managerial Excellence . Ensure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviours that contribute to RBC goals. . JOB SPECIFICATIONS . 3 or more years of sell-side experience trading US and Canadian equities and covering institutional accounts . Excellent client relationships . Proven track record generating revenues . NASD Series 7,63, and 55 required .
