Description:
As an Infection Surveillance Supervisor / Practitioner at this facility you would:

- Investigate suspect infections
- Plan and direct the appropriate techniques for infection control with the department of nursing and other hospital departments
- Identify the need for in-service education programs
- Conduct programs for all hospital departments as needed
- Coordinate infection control activities with the Chief of Infectious Diseases

Required Skills:
 

- 5-20 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience
- 5+ years of medical-surgical experience
- Infection control and hospital experience
- Computer literacy
- NYS RN licensure
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
