Description: Image Sales Researcher Tracking Code NY 8158 Job Description Who you are: You are a Getty Images imagery collection expert in conjunction with sales consultants and clients. Responsible for providing consultative image research services to Getty Images customers via telephone and email. You act as a liaison between customers and Getty Images sales and creative teams, providing internal feedback to maximize sales and enhance image collections. Responsibilities: * Creative Services:Responsible for serving as the creative bridge between the sales team and Getty Images clients in conducting image searches which require posting to clients accounts across all stills collections to service client requests/needs. Follows up with both client and sales consultant ensuring that image selection meets or exceeds expectations and, when appropriate, results in a sale. * Customer Service and Interaction with Customer:Responsible for providing exceptional customer service regarding creative services and research relative to requests for imagery. Builds relationships with a base of assigned accounts. Communicates via telephone and email. Communicates and educates customers to RF, RM and Editorial options, total scope of Getty Images services and how to improve customer searching effectiveness. Provides creative solutions for client image needs. Ensures accurate, timely and consistent follow through with all customer requests and interactions. Works with sales staff on attending client visits to conduct web demos and educate clients on collection content. Handles overflow sales telephone calls. * Internal Feedback and Reporting:Provides internal feedback on images and trends that are needed in our collection. As needed, participates in cross-functional meetings and events with creative team. Provides research training and updates when appropriate. Provides keyword and functionality feedback from both web-based and internal databases. Participates in side projects as time permits.Qualifications: * A BA or BS, with an emphasis in photography/film, graphic design or advertising or equivalent experience. * A minimum of 1-3 years experience in customer service and extensive knowledge of photography/film and/or visual arts. In some cases, may require experience in stock footage sales, research or editing. * Strong customer service skills. * Familiarity with imaging and graphics software preferred, such as Photoshop, Quark, PageMaker, Live Picture, PowerPoint, and Printshop. In some cases familiarity with film editing techniques, systems and software preferred. * Foreign language skills (French, Spanish) a plus. * Industry -related (stock photography/stock footage, internet technologies, electronic pre-press, film production, publishing advertising or knowledge of Getty Images brands) experience preferred.Behaviors: * Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision in an environment which requires strong teamwork and cross-functional interaction. * Ability to interpret clients visual needs. * Extensive knowledge of Getty Images collection and key wording techniques. * General knowledge of photography, history, geography, current events and popular culture. * Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. * Ability to creatively solve problems and find solutions (across all Getty Images offerings) for clients. * Ability to be agile, remain focused and make smart decisions in a rapidly changing, often ambiguous environment.
