Description:
Responsibilities of the IMAC Technician include:
- Working with requestors of new equipment to determine application needs for new and existing users
- Interfacing with technical support network administrators to have appropriate logins/passwords created to corporate applications and network resources
- Preparing folders of individual logins for new users
- Assisting other PC technicians in setting up and testing created logins
- Contacting remote users and other employees to determine the status of login creation and to retrieve necessary files from existing users
- Processing special requests for computer users involving equipment ordering, hardware replacements/upgrades, software installation and moves from one internal location to another
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience with remedy - IMAC
- Desktop/help desk experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Technical School degree plus work experience
