Description: Job Summary%%0A%%0A * Report to Senior HR Business Partner in New York, NY. In partnership with another HR Coordinator, provide support to three (3) HR Business Partners.%%0A * Assist HR team in providing national support to the North America Broking, Global Instrat, and Global Specialties client groups.%%0A * Participate in a variety of HR activities including recruiting, performance management, employee relations, HR administration and project work.%%0A%%0A Responsibilities %%0A %%0A Recruitment & Staffing%%0A%%0A * Manage recruitment process for permanent employees at all levels of the organization (includes requisition and approval administration, posting open positions, managing job postings, tracking applicant flow log information, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, managing interview process , and extending job offers).%%0A * Manage the coordination and administration of temporary hires and ensure approval and compliance with on-boarding process is maintained. Process requests in a timely fashion in order to ensure minimal business disruption.%%0A * Prepare offer letters. Send out new hire packages, resume acknowledgment letters and other correspondence. %%0A * Oversee the administration of the background check process.%%0A * Coordinate and administer orientation and on-boarding process for new hires.%%0A%%0A Employee Relations%%0A%%0A * Coach and counsel managers and employees on basic HR policy questions and issues with the objective of satisfactory resolution. Escalate and review issues with HR Business Partner(s).%%0A * Interface with all colleagues to develop rapport and establish credibility.%%0A%%0A Communication%%0A%%0A * Partner with employees, management and HR to communicate various HR programs, policies, procedures, practices, etc. to colleagues as necessary.%%0A * Communicate status on projects, recruiting, and other initiatives to HR Business Partners via weekly pipeline meetings.%%0A%%0A Benefits/Payroll%%0A%%0A * Process HR transactions including all new hires, corrections, updates, promotions, terminations, transfers and HR related paperwork. Follow-up to ensure timely processing.%%0A * Partner with HR colleagues to research and respond to employee inquiries. %%0A * Utilize PeopleSoft and other systems to obtain data.%%0A * Coordinate leave of absence requests and exit interviews. %%0A%%0A Administration%%0A%%0A * Maintain HR files and related records for all employees.%%0A * Track receipt of performance appraisals and scorecards on an on-going basis. %%0A * Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including invoice processing, service award letters, and heavy filing.%%0A * Provide administrative support to three HR Business Partners and/or other team members as needed, including duties such as coordinating meetings, setting up conference calls, and reserving conference rooms.%%0A * Compile and organize HR reports as requested.%%0A%%0A Miscellaneous%%0A%%0A * Coordinate and/or assist with HR project work as needed.%%0A * Assist with coordinating visa/green card processing with external legal counsel.%%0A * Assist HRBP with domestic and international relocation and expatriate assignment cost projection requests as necessary.%%0A * Handle routine decisions based on the policies and processes outlined.%%0A * Recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.%%0A%%0A Requirements%%0A %%0A · Bachelor's Degree.%%0A %%0A · 2-3 years of HR experience. Recruiting experience preferred.%%0A %%0A · Working knowledge of labor laws including FMLA, ADA, and Title VII preferred.%%0A %%0A · Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members.%%0A %%0A · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build solid customer/colleague%%0A relationships and interface with employees at all levels of the organization.%%0A %%0A · Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to%%0A ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.%%0A %%0A · Exceptional organization and multi-tasking skills.%%0A %%0A · Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.%%0A %%0A · Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. %%0A Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and Taleo preferred.%%0A %%0A
