External Home-Loan Consultant (HLC) - Sales Manager

Primary Responsibilities Include: . Consulting potential Borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs and processes . Assisting in preparing and participating in Real Estate Professional/Broker/Builder functions—including Open Houses and Conventions . Creating and executing a Business Development Plan . Accepting Loan Applications and entering into system . Obtaining Credit Documentation, Disclosures and other Forms in accordance with regulatory and Countrywide guidelines . Setting-up Loan Files . Forwarding Loan Files for further processing . Initiating and maintaining contact with Brokers, Real Estate Professionals, Selling Agents, etc. within the locality to inform them of loan products and other services offered by Countrywide A Successful Candidate Will Have: . 2+ years experience originating Residential Loan Applications . Knowledge of the Real Estate Professional/Builder segment of the Mortgage industry . Comprehensive, working knowledge of HELOCs and Fixed Seconds . Knowledge of local Real-Estate community . Proven ability to generate a minimum of 4 to 6 Fundings per month . Comprehensive, working knowledge of Pre-Qualification principles and practices The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess: .
