Description:
Responsibilities for the Hedge Fund Marketer include:

- Developing and implementing a dedicated calling effort focused on separately managed liquidity in the securities lending, hedge fund, and CTA marketplace
- Serving as the primary investment management liaison between IFI and the hedge fund efforts in InServ, Foreign Exchange, and U.S. Banking
- Developing and implementing a plan to expand awareness of company and its products within the securities lending and hedge fund industries
- Develop an understanding of key industry competitors, their products, pricing, competitive advantages/disadvantages, vulnerabilities, and marketing strategy
- Cultivating and maintaining key industry relationships and professional networks (MFA etc.)
- Maintaining a clear understanding of factors affecting portfolio management and the securities/investment related markets
- Assisting Relationship Managers in attracting additional assets or asset classes, cross-selling other company products and services and developing referrals from existing client base
- Assisting in product development initiatives
- Assisting in implementation of new technology: CRM, Webex etc.

Required Skills:

- 5 years of Investment Management, Financial Services Sales/Marketing, Hedge Fund and/or related experience
- Knowledge of financial markets, the securities lending/hedge fund industries and portfolio management principles and practices
- Bachelor’s degree
