OVERALL SUMMARY Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing day to day aspects of DVD marketing for assigned titles - driving awareness and sales of DVD releases.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Consumer Advertising: Manage creative and media agencies through development of media plans and development/production of advertising. - DVD Content Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions for DVD content, develop content recommendations, manage production teams/vendors. - Publicity: Work closely with internal PR teams and agencies to plan & execute PR/promotional events (e.g. launch parties, DVD signings). - Trade Advertising/Packaging: Partner with internal creative teams to develop packaging and trade strategies and materials. - Promotions: Collaborate with cross-functional HBO marketing teams (on-air, licensing, .com, etc) and develop cross-platform promotional opportunities. - Obtain legal approvals, process invoices, maintain schedules. REQUIREMENTS - 2-4 years of Marketing or Advertising experience (Agency Account Management or Entertainment Marketing experience a plus) - Ability to think creatively and strategically. - Strong creative judgment and familiarity with creative development process (advertising, video content, product packaging) - Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be comfortable communicating with senior executives and talent. - Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize work.
