Must have three years of previous hair/makeup experience in the "live" television arena. Must be comfortable and experienced with airbrushing. HD experience and knowledge preferred. Experience with high-profile talent a plus. College degree a plus. Must thrive working in a high pressure, demanding environment. Must possess excellent customer service skills and able to make changes to "craft" at a moments notice. In addition to being artistic and creative, this person must be professional and work well within the Corporate environment. Must be able to work well alone and on a team! Duties: The Hair and Make-up Artist will be responsible for creating an up-to-date look in regards to make-up application and hairstyling for anchors, correspondents, and guests. In addition to make-up application and hair styling, daily responsibilities include keeping work station organized and clean and completing daily worksheets. Watching air to make sure anchors and correspondents continually look good and going on-set to do touch-ups as needed is an essential part of this job. Make-up/Hair Artists need to be flexible and work at a fast pace. They need to be proficient in air brushing, hair blowouts, and excel in "finishing" hair so that it lasts.
