Description: Job Title Graphic Artist Auto req ID 849BR CBS Business Unit CBS Television Stations Division/Station WCBS-TV Station WCBS-TV Department Graphics Location New York - New York Job Description Responsible for the creation and implementation of motion graphics and design elements for web and broadcast. The Graphic Artist assists in pre-production for internal and external clients and must be able to take direction from multiple sources. Problem-solving and the ability to juggle multiple projects will be an important facet of success. The Graphic Artist is expected to have a clear understanding of how to express brand attributes through design and motion graphics. Required Skills/Experience - Software applications including, but not limited, to: Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator (All CS3), 3ds 6.0 a plus. - Awareness and ability to apply current design trends. - Typefaces and their application in multiple display formats. - Chyron, Avid, tape machines, scanners and digital cameras. - Element preparation needed for edits, pre-pro for Avid. If necessary, must be able to sit in on edits and give clear, concise direction. Minimum Education Level Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience Job Status Full Time
