Position Purpose: PURPOSE: . Account management and due diligence support for hedge fund and other specialized trading counterparties . Preparation of transaction requests and credit risk assessments . Co-ordinate the trading documentation process. . Manage counterparty compliance requirements Key Accountabilities: KEY RESULT AREAS: . Advanced knowledge of hedge fund investment strategies; . Familiarity with OTC derivative products including interest rate & equity swaps, credit derivatives, foreign exchange forward contracts and securities finance; . Advanced understanding of RBCCM counterparty trading credit policy; . Effective communication among marketers and traders in NY, London and Toronto; . Development of an effective contact network including GRM-Credit Risk, Trading Documentation (TO) and the GMO (TO/NY); . Timely preparation of Transaction Requests and Risk Assessment Frameworks for existing and new relationships; . Continuous maintenance of accurate counterparty compliance reports including NAV and performance data; . Advanced understanding of trading documentation including the ISDA Master Agreement; . Basic understanding of securities regulations governing mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds and other institutional counterparties; . Market intelligence support using internet news services and industry-specific websites; . Identify potential "credit process" inefficiencies and initiate remedial action; and . Complete special projects and assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
