The ideal candidate has extensive client-side experience or industry experience in a similar role, and is comfortable with developing mid- and long-term strategy, budgeting and other business needs. Must have the ability to work independently to attain $20M annual sales. Must have strong selling skills and experience in major accounts. Experience selling in a high technology and networking industry is a must. Knowledge of LAN and/or WAN networks is required. Experience in selling TCP/IP networking products is a plus. Knowledge of Ethernet, X.25, Token Ring, FDDI, IPX, is preferred. Requires a BA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
